Arriving at Kualanamu airport, after airport procedure, you shall meet with the tourist guide

Today, your tour will be started going to Bukit Lawang (3 hrs drive) and Coffee stop at Binjai, enjoy the local Scenary of the palm oil plantation as long as the way to Bukit Lawang.

Lunch will be provided at the local restaurant.

Arriving at Bukit Lawang ( 4 hrs drive from Medan ) crossing the river on a hanging cable plank bridge to the hotel for Check-in. After check-in, you can walk around the river with a rocky path leads to the water, swimming in the river. If you are lucky, you are going to see the Orangutan hanging around the tree near the river.

Afterwards enjoy the night time near the jungle and you get dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will leave to start the jungle trekking.

You will hike through the very dense jungle full of indigenous flora and fauna of the Leuser rainforest.

During the trip, the guide will tell you all about the forest inhabitants such as mammals, amphibians, reptiles, insects, butterflies, etc. Enjoy the fresh water of the beautiful Bahorok River. While relaxing in the river, you can usually admire beautiful butterflies. Orangutans and large birds such as the hornbill (Rangkok Gading) are often seen in the park.

Lunch will be prepared by your guide, nasi goreng and fruit from the local market are on the menu.

Around 4pm, you will reach the village and to the accomodation, where the night will be spent. You can relax, drink coffee and tea and swim in the river round the accomodtion. Spending the night in the village, after your hard tour in the jungle is a special experience, Enjoy your night, because next morning you continue the tour to Samosir island.

Today’s journey takes you to Samosir Island, (an island within a volcanic lake) via the town of Parapat.

driving to Parapat takes 6 hours and you’ll set off after breakfast. You’ll also visit Dokan, the traditional Batak Karo Village (to see way of life the local people, Batak Karo Houses). Along the way you will stop at to see the 120 meter Sipiso-piso Waterfall which is located in the Batak highlands. The beautiful fall is formed by an underground river that then plunges from a cave into Lake Toba caldera which has great views over the lake.

After lunch you will reach Parapat, a small town on the eastern shore of Lake Toba, where you will cross to Samosir Island by ferry boat (45 minutes). This small island is located in the middle of Lake Toba, the caldera lake of the Toba Volcano, which was formed over 75.000 years ago. Check in to your hotel for dinner and an evening at leisure. Overnight on Samosir Island.

Breakfast at the hotel, After breakfast, We start Samosir Island tour by car. First time, we are going to visit Ambarita village, Huta Siallagan (Kampung the King of Siallagan Clan of Batak Toba). 

Around the village we can see the Batak Toba traditional houses and Some stone chairs as the justice court for the prisons, was happenned long time ago. Around the Village you can do shopping the local handycraft, such as : Ulos (Batak Cloth), Tongkat Tunggal Panaluan (wood carving stick) and Hasapi (local guitar with two strings) and many other thngs.

After Huta Siallagan Village, the trip continue to SiBea-bea Hill (by car 3 hrs drive) the most fantastic view to take foto and can see the Jesus statue (61 metres, the highest in the world).

Then from si Bea-bea back to the village Huta Raja to see the people making traditional cloth “Ulos”.

Continue to other area to see Sidihoni lake (Lake on the Lake), at this area we can see one big field with clay soil, if stand on it we feel on the foam (part of Geopark Toba )

Back to the hotel , to enjoy the atmosfere of Lake Toba

Lunch and Dinner on your own account, You can enjoy anywhere as long as the tour .

Today, after breakfast, Check out and going to Medan town (4 hrs driving)

Medan is  a capital town of North Sumatera , Medan is not tourism town but a bussines area.
